A. Technical P.R.O.P.S. (Advanced Technical Theatre):
You must complete and return an application to Mr. Treharne in M-1 by Friday, April 1.
B. Performance P.R.O.P.S. (Advanced Theatre):
You must register for and complete an audition.
Auditions will be held:
Wednesday and Thursday, March 23 and 24, 2011.
Registration
1. Fill out an Advanced Theatre Application.
2. Meet the following prerequisites:
Pass (or be passing) Theatre I with a C or better.
OR
Participate in TWO (2) productions.
(One may be with the Kings Mountain Little Theatre.)
OR
Get recommendations (see below) from teachers or coaches.
Recommendations
Print out the Recommendation Form and give it to the required teachers. It is their responsibility to turn it in to Mr. Treharne. Recommendations are only valid from teachers you have had in class or in a club since the start of the academic year.
If you play a sport, you will need to get two recommendations. One of these MUST be from your coach.
If you DO NOT play a sport, you will need to get five recommendations.
Auditions
For the P.R.O.P.S. Auditions, each candidate needs to prepare, to the best of his or her ability, the following:
ONE (1) Contemporary Monologue no longer than 60 seconds
AND
ONE (1) Classical Monologue no longer than 60 seconds
